The panoramic photomontage entitled Room #8 evolved out of her visits to buildings scheduled for demolition in southern Tel Aviv. Drawing from the form and function of a wall – an architectural component that is both a façade and provides physical support – the portals and borders depicted in the 10.5-meter-long composition reflect the numerous ways in which history deposits its sediments on walls, forming layers that represent the traces of time.
