A series of six tales emerges from six items, all uncovered within a wall built in 1948 in a house located in the Ajami neighborhood of Jaffa. This wall was intended to divide a home into separate living spaces for two families—one Palestinian and the other a Jewish Moroccan immigrant family—both sharing a common love for music from the Arab world.
The stories in this project originate from objects found within this wall, constructed by its own inhabitants; it contains objects found around the house, concealed items that have now been extracted, cleaned, archived, and photographed.
Displayed here, they whisper potential narratives once silenced within walls.
