Heart to Heart

Heart to Heart is a collaboration between artist Ilit Azoulay and Palestinian healer Maisoun Karaman, exploring non-linear transmissions and future codes as a universal language of healing. First received by Karaman in her spiritual practice in November 2023, these auditory messages offer both relief and empowerment in the present.

Initially presented in Azoulay’s solo exhibition QUEENDOM. Navigating Future Codes at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg (2024), the soundwork invited visitors into an immersive listening experience. The work was later expanded for the EMOP Festival’s “What Stands Between Us” (2025), where she introduced a wall dedicated to organizations working towards a more just future in Israel and Palestine. That same year, the work was also featured in Consider Listening at the Haubrok Foundation in Berlin.

Karaman holds an MA in Women’s Studies from Lesley University and works as a spiritual coach and light-language practitioner.
